Iraqi inventors harvested Gold at the conference of inventions Archimedes, which was held in Moscow from 26 to 29 March 2019 and with the participation of more than 300 inventors and scientists from different countries of the world (Germany, Russia, Slovenia, Portugal, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Taiwan, China, Kuwait, Morocco, Malaysia, Thailand, Romania, Hungary) as well as a large number of industrial companies
Professor Zaidoun al-Saadi, head of the delegation, said:
That Iraqi scientists have managed to achieve a new Iraqi victory in the field of science and innovation, surpassing all international delegations participating in the exhibition ( Seven gold medals, three silver medals, four medals Bronze ).
Pointing out that the participation included various axes including medical, engineering, military, petrochemical and other axes.
Stressing that the Iraqi delegation was the focus of attention of international companies and participants. The delegation was honoured with a set of other gold medals (in addition to the official medals of the exhibition) from different countries, unions and organisations in Germany, Thailand and the European Union
Pointing out that the participants raised the flag of Iraq among the senior participants from different countries of the world.
Explaining that the participation was at their own expense
Distributed between the universities of Baghdad, Mustansiriyah, Qadissiya, Basra and Diyala in addition to the ministries of oil and the private sector, adding that the Iraqi delegation won the Oscars Cup award for the best of their two participants
He attended the closing ceremony of the conference and exhibition (which was covered by international satellite channels, including iNEWS and Al-Ahed channel), the representative of the Iraqi Ambassador in Russia, Dr. Abbas Fadil Hassan. The Iraqi delegation also visited the Iraqi Ambassador at his residence and celebrated the distinguished victory of the Iraqi delegation.
The Iraqi delegation included 14 Iraqi scientists and inventors.
